Welcome!
Dear readers,
Thank you so much for your interest in my writing! I’ve been absolutely thrilled with readers’ response to the continuation of my Hope’s Crossing series. CURRANT CREEK VALLEY hit the USA Today bestseller list and was in the top twenty-five on the Bookscan list of bestselling romances for three weeks in a row. Thank you all! The book received some fantastic reviews. Romantic Times gave the book 4 stars and said, “Thayne pens another winner by combining her huge, boisterous cast of familiar characters with a beautiful setting and a wonderful story.”
I’ve had many readers asking what’s coming next. I’m thrilled to announce that book five in the series, WILLOWLEAF LANE, hits bookstores June 25. The book is available for pre-order now. You can find it at Amazon, Barnes & Noble or your favorite retailer. This is the story of Charlotte Caine, who has made some amazing changes in her life and now wants to move on to a new phase. Here’s the back cover copy:
“Candy shop owner Charlotte Caine knows temptation. To reboot her life, shed weight and gain perspective, she’s passing up sweet enticements left and right. But willpower doesn’t come so easily when hell-raiser Spencer Gregory comes back to Hope’s Crossing, bringing with him memories of broken promises and teen angst.
A retired pro baseball player on the mend from injury – and a damaging scandal – he’s interested in his own brand of reinvention. Now everything about Spencer’s new and improved lifestyle, from his mission to build a rehab facility for injured veterans to his clear devotion to his preteen daughter, Peyton, touches Charlotte’s heart.
Holding on to past hurt is her only protection against falling for him – again. But if she takes the risk, will she find in Spencer a hometown heartbreaker, or the hero she’s always wanted?”
I loved writing this book. It has one of my favorite endings ever, and that’s saying something after forty-something books!
Also coming this year will be Book 6, SNOWFLAKE CANYON, which is scheduled to hit bookstores in November. This is the story of Dylan Caine, Charlotte’s brother, and (wait for it!) … Genevieve Beaumont! I absolutely adored the two of them together. Who knew Genevieve would become one of my very favorite heroines?
Thank you again for your emails. I love hearing from you!
All my best,
RaeAnne
