Dear Readers,

Thank you so much for your interest in my writing! I’m very thrilled for the chance to return to Hope’s Crossing, Colorado to bring readers the second book in my series set there, WOODROSE MOUNTAIN. Lost and grieving after a series of losses, Evie Blanchard has found sanctuary in Hope’s Crossing. She has walked away from her life as a pediatric rehab therapist and is perfectly happy working at String Fever, the local bead shop, and selling her jewelry creations at summer bead fairs.

But when gorgeous businessman Brodie Thorne pleads for her help in the recovery of his brain-injured daughter Taryn, who was gravely wounded in a car accident in book one (BLACKBERRY SUMMER, HQN 6-11), Evie feels obliged by her friendship to Taryn’s grandmother to overcome her own reluctance and offer what assistance she can. She doesn’t want to allow herself to care for Taryn – or Brodie! – but in the process of helping this courageous girl recover from her severe injuries, Evie discovers her own heart beginning to mend.

I loved writing WOODROSE MOUNTAIN and I’ve been thrilled with the reception so far. Dorine Linnen of Romance Junkies gave the book 4 1/2 blue ribbons and said, “WOODROSE MOUNTAIN is a book full of dreams—some shattered then rebuilt, layered sadness sprinkled with hope, all surrounded by love and friendship to aid a town toward healing.  I don’t think anyone can read this book without imagining actually living within this small town.  I can’t wait to find out what happens next for those who live and love in Hope’s Crossing.”

Book Three in Hope’s Crossing, SWEET LAUREL FALLS will be available in October 2012. This is the story of Maura McKnight-Parker. I just finished writing Maura’s story, which finds her once more reunited with her first love, Jackson Lange. I was delighted to finally give Maura the happy ending she so deserved!

And speaking of reunions … also available beginning March 20 is A COLD CREEK REUNION, next up in my ongoing COWBOYS OF COLD CREEK series for Harlequin Special Edition. Here’s the back cover copy:

“He was the one you called when you needed rescuing … But who was Taft Bowman going to call when he needed help? Because ten years ago Laura Pendleton, the love of his life, had left town without a word, then or since. Now she was back, with a new last name–and two adorable, high-needs little ones in tow. Well, Taft had been stupid enough to let her go once before…he wasn’t about to make the same mistake again. He’d never stopped loving her–and one look at those adorable little faces and he knew that he was meant to be with Laura and her kids forever. All he had to do was convince her that this time he was a man she could count on!”

Taft is one of my all-time favorite heroes – and after forty books, that’s saying something! He’s sexy and compassionate at the same time and definitely deserved to find happiness with Laura, who has faced a few challenges of her own. Watch for the third Bowman story, coming this Christmas!

Happy reading!
